The Power of Connection: Why the Holland Women’s Business Network Exists

Updated: Dec 19, 2025

Six years ago, I learned something that permanently changed how I view business growth:

You can’t build something extraordinary alone.

The Power of Connection

Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of leading women’s networking groups, mentoring leaders, and helping build communities that became lifelines for hundreds of women. I’ve watched quiet voices grow into confident leaders. I’ve seen small businesses expand simply because the right connection was made at the right time.

When women consistently show up for one another, something powerful happens. Confidence grows. Opportunities multiply. Everyone rises.

Why Networking Matters

Here’s a truth we don’t talk about enough:

Research from Harvard Business Review shows women with strong professional networks are 2.5 times more likely to advance in their careers. The Bureau of Labor Statistics reports that approximately 85% of jobs are filled through networking. Yet studies also show that nearly 42% of women in business don’t have a formal networking strategy — relying instead on chance encounters and hope.

Hope is not a strategy.

Why the Holland Women’s Business Network Exists

The Holland Women’s Business Network exists to change that.

HWBN was created to provide intentional connection — a space where women can build real relationships, collaborate meaningfully, and grow with purpose. This is a community of women who believe in each other’s success and are willing to open doors, share resources, and offer support.

Whether you’re just starting out or have been in business for decades, you belong here. Belonging, however, isn’t passive. It’s about showing up, participating, and being invested in the success of others.

When you commit to meaningful relationships, your business grows stronger, your opportunities expand, and your confidence follows.

What’s Possible

I’ve seen it happen time and time again. And I can’t help but wonder:

What could shift in your business if you had twenty women actively looking for ways to refer you, support you, and help you grow?

HWBN isn’t just another networking group. It’s a community built on connection, intention, and shared success.

And you’re invited to be part of it.

Take the Next Step

Don’t just network — network with intention.

Join us at an upcoming coffee meetup or visit a leads group and experience HWBN for yourself.

Your seat is waiting.

See you soon,
