ABOUT
Real Women. Real Business. Real Connection.
Welcome to Holland Women’s Business Network—where authentic community meets real opportunity.
The Why Behind HWBN
HWBN started with a simple idea: What if networking didn’t feel so forced?
What if there were a space where women could show up as themselves, talk about their work without pressure or pretense, and truly support one another? What if we built a community rooted in connection, not competition?
That vision sparked the first HWBN coffee meetup—and since then, it’s grown into a movement. Today, we’re proud to be a thriving community of ambitious, generous, driven women in business who are ready to grow and help others grow too.
Who It’s For
HWBN is for women who:
-
Own or run a business (or want to)
-
Lead in their career, nonprofit, or creative field
-
Are done with “surface-level” networking and want meaningful connection
-
Want to grow professionally in a space that’s positive, supportive, and fun
Whether you're just starting or scaling, self-employed or corporate, solo or building a team—we have a seat for you.

How We’re Different
We’re not a stuffy networking group. We’re also not a casual social club.
Holland Women's Business Network is a community of real women in business, built around trust, collaboration, and growth.
We believe in:
-
Conversations over cliques
-
Support over comparison
-
Celebration over competition
-
Strategy and heart
Our Signature Approach
We know that not every woman wants to grow in the same way—so Holland Women's Business Network offers multiple ways to plug in based on your needs, goals, and schedule. From high-level strategy sessions to casual connection events, we meet you where you are (and help you get where you’re going).
You can grow your network, your business, and your confidence—one connection at a time.

How Holland Women's Business Network Invests Every Dollar
We believe in transparency and community impact. Here’s how the dollars coming into HWBN are allocated:
-
10% Community Impact – A portion of all revenue directly supports local nonprofits.
-
Administrative Costs – Includes owner oversight, support staff, and essential tools, systems, and compliance to keep things running smoothly.
-
Operations & Growth – Funding programs, events, marketing, and resources that make HWBN thrive. (This also includes taxes and other behind-the-scenes necessities.)

Pre Approved Nonprofit Organizations
At Holland Women's Business Network, we believe in giving back to the community that makes our network thrive. That’s why we’ve partnered with a select group of local nonprofits that align with our values of connection, growth, and impact.
These organizations have been pre-approved by our leadership team as trusted partners, ensuring that every dollar donated, every sponsorship, and every collaboration makes a meaningful difference right here in West Michigan.
Why Pre-Approved?
-
Trustworthy Partnerships – We’ve done the vetting so you can give with confidence.
-
Local Impact – Each nonprofit is rooted in our community, making a direct difference for women, families, and businesses in the Lakeshore area.
-
Shared Values – Every partner reflects our commitment to collaboration, growth, and generosity.
How It Works
-
Members and event sponsors can designate a portion of their contributions to these pre-approved nonprofits.
-
HWBN highlights and supports these organizations through our events, luncheons, and member activities.
