Summer has owned her Summertime Cafe' for 11 years and has lived in the lakeshore area for 12. Summer decided to open this cafe using her great-grandmother's cherished recipes and some of her own.

Summer volunteers for the homeless shelter by serving and cooking once a month and loves to help with the community garden that she started as well. ​
