Mindy Cook founded the Holland Women’s Business Network (HWBN) in 2019 to create a welcoming place for women in business in Holland, Michigan, to connect, support one another, and grow. What began as a Facebook community has grown into a network offering networking events, leadership opportunities, business resources, and meaningful connections for local entrepreneurs and professionals.
As Founder and President, Mindy guides HWBN’s vision, strategy, marketing, and operations. She developed the network’s brand voice and marketing direction, and designed and built the HWBN website. She continues to develop programs and membership opportunities that strengthen the local business community and help women entrepreneurs grow.
Mindy is also a marketing strategist and leadership advisor, the owner of Sterling Rose Marketing, and host of the Lead with Calm podcast.

Working with Mindy, HWBN’s Executive Leadership Team supports the network’s programs, communications, and community partnerships, helping create opportunities for women in business to connect, lead, and grow.

Amber supports HWBN’s marketing and communications, helping share news about the network’s programs and events.
She contributed key elements of HWBN’s visual identity, including its logo, signature circles, and color palette, and helps bring communications materials to life in alignment with the network’s brand voice.

Samantha Wieringa helps turn HWBN’s ideas into meaningful opportunities for women to connect, learn, and grow.
She plays an important role in planning and coordinating the network’s programs and gatherings, including its annual Leadership Luncheon.
Working with the team and event volunteers, Sam helps create welcoming experiences that bring the HWBN community together.

Our Coffee & Chat leadership team creates welcoming opportunities for women in business to connect, build relationships, and engage in meaningful conversations. Through monthly gatherings, they help foster a supportive environment where connections grow naturally.
